Hooters of America (HOA) sent its legal counsel to Angeles City, Pampanga to communicate with a certain restaurant owner that they are not authorized by Hooters to use the company’s name and logo. They were demanded to refrain from using the Hooters brand or face charges of trademark infringement.
Said restaurant owner complied, removing any and all items identifiable with Hooters and renamed their restaurant.
Hooters at San Miguel by the Bay is currently the only restaurant in the Philippines sanctioned by HOA with a Franchise Agreement to use the Hooters brand and system.

To all Hooters lovers,
We’ve received several reports that an odd-looking “Hooters” Restaurant exists in Angeles City, Pampanga. As per their accounts, the restaurant carries the Hooters logo but does not serve the same food nor do they have the same ambience. Please be advised that Hooters of America did not authorize use of the Hooters name nor did they grant a Hooters franchise to this establishment.
If you are looking for the authentic Hooters Experience here in the Philippines, there’s only one place to go to – Hooters of San Miguel by the Bay, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
